England midfielder David Beckham has hinted that he could return to the English Premier League at the end of the Major League Soccer season.
The 34-year-old midfielder is keen to keep playing in Europe ahead of next summer's World Cup finals and his regular club season in America will end in November.
Last season the former Manchester United star played in Italy at AC Milan and is widely expected to return to Serie A with the Rossoneri.
However, Beckham is refusing to rule out making a return to English club football.
"Everyone knows I will be planning to come back to Europe," he admitted. "I don't know, there are a few options, put it that way."
Meanwhile, Beckham has admitted his place in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad is not guaranteed.
The veteran midfielder will be heading to his fourth World Cup should he be on the plane to South Africa, but first he must impress the Italian coach with his club form.
"The players have realized that nothing is certain about being in squads," he said. "Every player has to work hard to get the manager's attention. If you're playing well, you've got a chance. If you're not performing, you haven't."
