Wenger offers warning to Gunners

The Sports Network

Arsene Wenger has warned Arsenal against complacency after Tuesday's 2-0 Champions League playoff first leg victory over Celtic in Glasgow.

The Gunners took a giant stride towards qualification for the group stage after a Cesc Fabregas free-kick deflected off William Gallas for the opener and Gary Caldwell's own goal doubled their advantage in the 71st minute.

But despite his side's healthy advantage, Wenger has warned Arsenal that they still require a professional display at the Emirates Stadium next week to progress.

"We have a good advantage, but it is 180 minutes and we are in front after 90," he said.

"You want to play well for 180 and that is our purpose.

"We have to make sure we win the game at home, we have to take it serious and it is a massive game."
