Los que defendemos los derechos humanos, los defendemos siempre, defendemos no los conceptos, sino las personas. Son las personas las que tienen derechos no las ideas ni las cosas. Entre las personas, entre los seres humanos, estamos también nosotros los cubanos. Aunque la anterior afirmación parezca elemental, creo que es necesaria, como denuncia, ante los políticos y otros personajes que últimamente visitan a Cuba, viniendo del sur, del este, del oeste y del norte también.
