Northwestern's Michaelee Harris poised for success

While Harris is one of the key receivers in Miami-Dade County, he isn't alone. Top prospects such as Miramar's Ivan McCartney (6-3, 180), Booker T. Washington's Quinton Dunbar (6-2, 170), Joshua Reese (6-1, 185), Central, Shawn Corker (6-1, 185, Cardinal Gibbons) and Willis Wright (6-1, 190, Miami Springs) are also coveted as well.
The entire region is loaded with quality pass catchers such as Ted Meline (6-2, 170), Jelanie Rouland (6-3, 175) and Jayvon Wrentz (6-0, 175) from Booker T. Washington, Stevie Green (5-10, 160, Boyd Anderson), LaDarien Jenkins (6-2, 195) and Isaiah Williams (6-2, 190) from Monsignor Pace), Jory Gohagen (6-2, 185, Cardinal Gibbons), and Northwestern's Jahrie Level (5-11, 155), Lorenzo Shinhoster (5-10, 175), Roy Smith and Charles Fashaw, a 6-3, 220-pound transfer from Monsignor Pace, who will be used in the slot.

If you are looking for talent this Saturday and Sunday, Cardinal Gibbons will be the place to be as some of the top high school football players will be on hand for the Elite Scouting Service Football Camp/Combine.
On Saturday, many of the most coveted skilled position players, linebackers and linemen will test their abilities in drills and football-related activities from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Parents are urged to attend to take in the event firsthand, watching what athletes go through during the course of an event like this.
If you can't make it, tune into 790 The Ticket between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. as Bruce Warner and former Hurricane Gerard Daphnes will be on live with interviews as part of their successful Saturday Morning Sports Smack Show.
On Sunday, Tim Conrad's BIGFoot Kicking Camp will take place with some of the elite kickers, punters and long snappers in the state of Florida, heading to Fort Lauderdale.
