A light and lively rosé
2006 Kenwood Pinot Noir Rosé, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California: Here's a rose that will win back the wine's reputation that was ruined by those sweet, soda-pop blush zinfandels of the past decade.
It's light and lively, very dry, with spicy, tart-cherry flavors. Great as an aperitif, with ham, tuna sandwiches, chicken salad, Greek, Cobb or Chef's salads.
And if anybody gives you trouble for drinking it, have them call me. It's $12.
