Bringing the kids is child's play
The only thing the children won't get at our top 10 family-friendly resorts is bored.

Facilities include a fitness center, arcade, beach, a half-dozen restaurants; rooms and lobby recently were renovated. Supervised kids programs include the three-hour Turtle Troop, which takes kids 7 and older to the beach to learn about baby turtles that have been tagged with a GPS transmitter. Kids can follow their ''adopted'' turtle online back at home. There's a range of rooms, including studios, one- and two-bedroom vacation homes and three-bedroom beach cottages.

CLUB MED SANDPIPER
Port St. Lucie
The chain's only U.S. location, this resort caters to families with kids, from babies to tweens. A Circus School with trapeze lessons appeals to the older kids; a supervised baby program takes infants as young as four months. Options include several pools, tennis and golf academies, in-line skating, skateboard, sailing and softball, but you'll have to drive to spend time at the nearby beach.

A Florida Resident's Rate starting at $99 per adult per night is available through Aug. 22; available only by calling 800-CLUBMED.
