The Miami International Piano Festival continues through Sunday with three wide-ranging recitals and the traditional Concerto Night closer.
At 8:15 p.m. Friday, Gulsin Onay will make her Florida debut. The Turkish pianist will perform Schumann's Abegg Variations, Book II of Debussy's Images, Chopin's Ballade No. 3, along with works of Mendelssohn, Elgar and Ahmed Anan Saygun. Teen pianist Sijong Ye offers a matinee recital 2 p.m. Saturday with music of Beethoven, Brahms, Liszt, Chopin and Lowell Lieberman.
At 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Serbian pianist Aleksandar Madzar will tackle Beethoven's epic Diabelli Variations, Debussy's Children's Corner Suite and Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise.
The festival will close at 8:15 p.m. Sunday with Onay as soloist in Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Pietro de Maria performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 with William Noll conducting the festival orchestra.
