Recipe: Celery Sorbet

DESSERT

CELERY SORBET

• 3 cups celery juice

• 3 tablespoons agave nectar or sugar (see Note)

• Zest of ½ lime

• Juice of ½ lime

• Celery matchsticks, for serving

Combine celery juice, agave nectar, lime zest and lime juice. Chill. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

Serve with celery matchsticks that have been soaked in ice water with lemon or lime juice for at least 30 minutes. Makes 6-8 servings.

Note: If using sugar, heat 1 cup of the celery juice and sugar until sugar dissolves. Add rest of juice, lime zest and lime juice. Chill. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
