Monster.com to host job fair in Fort Lauderdale

Job-seekers can meet potential employers Thursday at a career fair in Fort Lauderdale.

The fair, organized by the job-search website Monster.com, will be from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, 1881 SE 17th St.

About 20 companies had signed up by Tuesday afternoon, including retailers Bed Bath and Beyond, Staples and the Vitamin Shoppe, Orkin pest control and the city of Delray Beach.

The fair is free to both employers and job-seekers. It's part of Monster's ``Keep America Working'' tour of 100 U.S. cities.
